Password
The Password section allows you to manage and update your account password securely from the My Account settings.Steps to Change Your Password
- Log in to your TelaviOneChatAI account.
- On the left-hand sidebar, scroll down and click “More” below the Help Center.
- Click on “My Account”, which appears just above the Logout option.
- Inside My Account, click on the “Password” tab.
- Enter your current password, then your new password, then confirm the new password.
- Click “Update” to save.
If you forget your current password, use the “Forgot Password” link on the login page to reset it.
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Multi-Factor Authentication adds a second layer of security to your account. In addition to your password, you must provide a one-time verification code — either sent to your registered email or generated by an authenticator app.Benefits

How to Set Up MFA
- Go to More → My Account from the left sidebar.
- Navigate to the “Security” tab.
- Locate the “Multi-Factor Authentication” dropdown and click to expand it.
- Click “Setup” or “Select MFA Method” to begin.

Method A: Email Verification
- In the “Choose Authentication Method” popup, select “Email” and click “Continue”.
- A verification code will be sent to your registered email. Retrieve and enter it on screen.
- Click “Verify” to activate email MFA.
Once verified, you will receive a login code on your registered email every time you sign in.
Method B: Authenticator App
- In the “Choose Authentication Method” popup, select “Authenticator App” and click “Continue”.
- Set up the app using one of two methods:
- Scan the QR code shown on screen using your authenticator app.
- Copy the secret key and manually enter it into your authenticator app.
- Once the app shows a 6-digit code, enter it in the “Verification Code” field and click “Verify”.
Recommended apps: Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator. Any TOTP-compatible app will also work.
Saving Recovery Codes
After setup, a set of recovery codes will be displayed. Click “Download” to save them immediately.Logging In with MFA Enabled
- Enter your email and password (or log in via Google/Facebook) as usual.
- You will be prompted to verify your identity via your active MFA method.
- Enter the verification code and click “Verify” to proceed.
- On the verification screen, select the option to use a recovery code.
- Enter one of your saved recovery codes and click “Verify”.
Each recovery code can only be used once and is permanently invalidated after use.
Best Practices
- Download and store recovery codes immediately after setup.
- Ensure your device’s clock is correctly synced if using an authenticator app.
- Set up MFA before sharing account access with team members.
