  6. Click “Update” to save.
If you forget your current password, use the “Forgot Password” link on the login page to reset it.
You will also find the option to Delete Your Account at the bottom of this page if you wish to permanently remove your profile.

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Multi-Factor Authentication adds a second layer of security to your account. In addition to your password, you must provide a one-time verification code — either sent to your registered email or generated by an authenticator app.

Benefits

  • Prevents unauthorized access even if your password is leaked.
  • Supports both email and authenticator app methods.
  • Works seamlessly with Google and Facebook (OAuth) login flows.
  • Includes recovery codes for emergency account access.

How to Set Up MFA

  1. Go to More → My Account from the left sidebar.
  2. Navigate to the “Security” tab.
  3. Locate the “Multi-Factor Authentication” dropdown and click to expand it.
  4. Click “Setup” or “Select MFA Method” to begin.
Two authentication methods are available:
  • Email
  • Authenticator App

Method A: Email Verification

  1. In the “Choose Authentication Method” popup, select “Email” and click “Continue”.
  2. A verification code will be sent to your registered email. Retrieve and enter it on screen.
  3. Click “Verify” to activate email MFA.
Once verified, you will receive a login code on your registered email every time you sign in.

Method B: Authenticator App

  1. In the “Choose Authentication Method” popup, select “Authenticator App” and click “Continue”.
  2. Set up the app using one of two methods:
    • Scan the QR code shown on screen using your authenticator app.
    • Copy the secret key and manually enter it into your authenticator app.
  3. Once the app shows a 6-digit code, enter it in the “Verification Code” field and click “Verify”.
Recommended apps: Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator. Any TOTP-compatible app will also work.

Saving Recovery Codes

After setup, a set of recovery codes will be displayed. Click “Download” to save them immediately.
Recovery codes are shown only once. Once you leave this page, they cannot be retrieved again. Store them somewhere safe such as a password manager or encrypted file.

Logging In with MFA Enabled

  1. Enter your email and password (or log in via Google/Facebook) as usual.
  2. You will be prompted to verify your identity via your active MFA method.
  3. Enter the verification code and click “Verify” to proceed.
You have 3 attempts to enter the correct code. After 3 failed attempts, your account will be temporarily locked. Wait for the cooldown period before trying again.
Using a Recovery Code:
  • On the verification screen, select the option to use a recovery code.
  • Enter one of your saved recovery codes and click “Verify”.
Each recovery code can only be used once and is permanently invalidated after use.

Best Practices

  • Download and store recovery codes immediately after setup.
  • Ensure your device’s clock is correctly synced if using an authenticator app.
  • Set up MFA before sharing account access with team members.
