WhatsApp API Key Setup

The API Key section allows you to connect your TelaviOneChatAI WhatsApp bot with a custom-developed application using WhatsApp Cloud API.

Accessing API Key Settings

1. Log in to your TelaviOneChatAI Dashboard.
2. Select the WhatsApp bot you want to configure.
3. Navigate to Settings.
4. Click on the API Key tab.

You will find the WhatsApp API Credentials and Webhook URL configuration here.

Step 1: Copy the WhatsApp API Token

1. In the WhatsApp API Credentials section, you will see a masked API key.
2. Click on Generate API Key.
3. Click the Copy icon to copy the token.
4. Paste this token into your development application.

Step 2: Retrieve Required Details from WhatsApp Cloud API

Once the API token is pasted and the integration is initialized, you will receive:

• Phone Number ID
• WhatsApp Business (WABA) ID

These values are generated by Meta and are required to complete the setup.

Step 3: Generate System Access Token from Meta

1. Go to business.facebook.com.
2. Navigate to Business Settings → Applications → System Users.
3. Create a new System User or select an existing one.
4. Assign Admin Access.
5. Generate a System Access Token for the WhatsApp application.

Step 4: Configure WhatsApp Cloud API Details

Enter the following in the WhatsApp Cloud API section:

• Phone Number ID
• WhatsApp Business (WABA) ID
• System Access Token

Once all three fields are filled, click Continue to proceed.

Webhook URL Configuration (Optional)

1. Enter your Webhook URL to receive real-time message events.
2. Add custom headers if required.
3. Click Test to verify the webhook.
4. Click Set Webhook URL to save.
